Hello all who love to sing :) Currently it is summer break for the Acabellas and the rest of the Saint Michael's community but that does not mean we do not have exciting things to post!! Finally we have Acabella videos from ACAPALOOZA! Remember when? I know we all do! Hope you all enjoy these videos that were put together by the wonderful John Wall. What an incredible weekend for all things Acapella!!

This weekend was absolutely incredible! Who would have guessed that after five years of Acabella's being in existence on Saint Michael's Campus, that there would be another incredible acapella group on campus AND there would be an incredible event (Acapalooza) that allowed all 4 groups to come together on one magical day and take the campus by storm. 

We are forever grateful to be a part of such a wonderful day. Thank you to all who helped out with the event. This is including the four acapella groups singing and bringing food, Katie Hodge's Mom when she provided us plates and napkins, John Wall for video taping, everyone who assisted in clean up, the friends and family who supported us all (also your applause) and the wonderful leaders of the four Acapella groups who brought us all together to be one big happy family and made this event possible. Your enthusiasm and excitement made this event something beautiful, and a day I do not think any of us will ever forget. 

There is a recording and videos of Acapalooza, as well as photos, that will be posted later in the semester.

New Stuff!!

Hello lovely people! So to keep you updated on all that is Acabellas, we have been quite busy. We are currently working on two brand new songs for the Acapalooza which is on Sunday April 13th (next Sunday). They are coming along quite wonderfully! Come to the concert to find out what songs are new :)

Acapalooza is going to be extremely exciting also because it includes the other three acapella groups on Saint Mike's Campus. Soulful, Sleepless Knights and of course the lovely Mike Check people are going to also be showing off there insane talents at this first ever SMC Acapalooza. Get pumped.

What a great Weekend for Acapella Groups!

All three concerts were absolutely fabulous this weekend, and a huge shout out to Soulful Harmonies for making their debut at SMC!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported us this weekend at our Winter Concert. It was a huge success! We had so much fun working with Mike Check and Soulful Harmonies and we want to thank both groups and Sleepless Nights for their constant support of us, it means so much to us! We hope you all enjoyed the music and cookies!

That's all for Bella's this semester but keep an eye out for us in the spring when we have new songs and more concerts!

Dont Forget: Acabella's FINAL concert of the year is this SATURDAY DECEMBER 7TH at 2:15 in the MCCARTHY ARTS CENTER

Take a break from all that finals stress! Come put your feet up while the lovely Bellas serenade you with two brand new songs and all your old favorites! 

Soulful Harmony will be opening the show and the men of Mike Check will be making a special guest appearance! 

Baked goods will be provided so if you weren't already sold let the free food convince you! Can't wait to see everyone there! 

Friday Knight Dry

The Bella's would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Friday Knight Dry and supported us, Mike Check, and the Sleepless Knights!

This was our first concert of the year and all the Bella's, new and old, worked really hard to make it a good one! We're extremely proud of the work we put in to those three songs and hope you enjoyed listening to them as much as we enjoyed singing them!

We'd also like to thank the men's and women's basketball teams for inviting us to sing the anthem at Midknight Madness. We hope to sing at more basketball games throughout the season!

Keep your eye out for future Bella's concerts. We're about to get started on some new music including another collaboration with the fabulous men of Mike Check! Hope the semester is going well for everyone! See you very soon!
