Winter Wrap Up

This past semester has been a busy one for the Bellas! We have added a handful of wonderful new members to our group and have added fun new songs as well. Here is an overview of what has been keeping us so busy:

• We performed at the Open House earlier this fall for prospective students visiting St. Mikes
• This semester, along with teaching the new members our old songs, we added 4 new songs (see our Repertoire)
• We performed at the Alumni Children's Christmas Party at St. Mikes

• We finished up the semester with our Winter Concert! (Video to be uploaded on our YouTube channel shortly!) And what better way to countdown to a concert than adorable photos?

We also want to wish good luck to Nat, a First Year Soprano 1, who will be transferring to a different school next semester, the best of luck! She has such a warm heart (and amazing singing voice) there is no doubt she will do well wherever she goes!
And bon voyage to Liz (Alto 2) and Ariana (Alto 1) as they study abroad in the Spring!

Hello All,

This year, on Saturday March 7 at 2:00pm in the McCarthy Arts Center, you'll get the chance to see all FOUR of the wonderfully talented Saint Mike's Acapella groups perform at the same time in the same place!

Yes you read that right. The Acabellas, Mike Check, The Sleepless Knights, and Soulful Harmony all in one place singing just for you! We had so much fun doing this last year we thought, why not bring it back?

TEDx Performance!

On Saturday, November 15 the Acabella's piled into St. Mike's vans and made their way down to Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in Manchester, NH for a performance at TEDx. We performed live and then again at a viewing party in a student center on campus.

At the live performance, we did "Give Me Love" by Ed Sheeran, "Zombies" by the Cranberries, and "One Fine Day" by The Chiffons.

A big thank you goes out to Gabbi Hall, '13, who was able to give us this opportunity to perform, TEDx Amoskeag Millyard, and our biggest fans, Julia Crisman and Danny Killea for volunteering to help drive us to our performance.

Up next for the Bella's is a performance on Sunday, December 7 at 12:30pm for Deck the Halls at Shelburne Museum. The following weekend, on Saturday, December 13 at 2pm, the Acabella's will be holding their Winter Concert at McCarthy Recital Hall.

 There is a lot happening with the Acabella's lately! We are getting really excited because this coming Saturday we are singing at SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) for TEDx! So cool :) A big thank you to Gabbi Hall '13 who helped us get to preform at this event.

There will be more information soon on how you can live stream the event. That's right you heard us correctly; not only are we singing in front of 150 people and a viewing party at 4:15pm but we are singing LIVE at 1:15pm! How insane is that?

Hello all who love to sing :) Currently it is summer break for the Acabellas and the rest of the Saint Michael's community but that does not mean we do not have exciting things to post!!
